Dogmatism is sticking to your view no matter what. Reaching a provisional conclusion based on current evidence is not dogmatism.

It's not dogmatic to think you are right about anything and not entertain the idea of personal truths or multiple truths.

So the atheists who were willing to accept that they cld be wrong, don't confound this by still thinking they're right abt things in life.

I know I'm labouring the point but so many ppl promote a form of open-mindedness that takes no account of evidence or probabilities.

It just opposed thinking yourself right and ppl with opposing views wrong on principle. Calls it dogmatism. But right & wrong answers exist.

I don't want fluffy vagueness where all views must be respected equally & regarded as equally likely & contradictory views can both be true.

This comes from a postmodern take on tolerance & inclusion but we can tolerate & include different worldviews w/out thinking them all right.
