cliche, but old point to make: who decides that an idea is threatening when no explicit call for violence/erasure has been made?

LOts of ideas are threatening. The idea that vaccines cause autism for example.

Yes, people do this, It's still words. You can counter them with words or you can hide from them.

more to point, not all such speakers do but r disrupted anyway. The bar for 'threat' has considerable indiv spread, inc among margin groups

And I think the worst ideas are the most important to be countered. If I was you, I'd now suggest you don't realise they're bad.

Clearly you lack empathy or you'd see the importance of challenging these ideas. Its probably coz you can't put urself in their shoes.
