Religion is the outward expression of delusion. Are you expecting that humans will no longer experience delusions?

If you call religion every form of delusion, then we'll always experience delusions. We could get over the stuff we call religion now tho.

Not all, religion is limited to a delusion which is experienced collectively. Any particular religion can end, but not all religions.

I'm sure we'll always have shared delusions, yes. However, the point was that we'd rather religion went than was reformed.

We're agreed we'll always have delusions. How then do you propose to stop the deluded communicating with the gullible?

I have no plans to stop anyone talking to anyone. Do you think I've claimed I can end religion coz I said I'd like to see it gone?

There's no conceivable mechanism by which it could end. You are hoping for something which is apparently impossible.

OK. I'll like disease to end too. I don't know if we'll ever get rid of religious beliefs. I think it would be a good thing.

Disease is evolution in action. Is it sensible to wish for the end of evolution?
