We're agreed we'll always have delusions. How then do you propose to stop the deluded communicating with the gullible?
-
I have no plans to stop anyone talking to anyone. Do you think I've claimed I can end religion coz I said I'd like to see it gone?
-
There's no conceivable mechanism by which it could end. You are hoping for something which is apparently impossible.
-
OK. I'll like disease to end too. I don't know if we'll ever get rid of religious beliefs. I think it would be a good thing.
-
Disease is evolution in action. Is it sensible to wish for the end of evolution?
-
Oh go away.

Religion is a pattern of ossified thought. It can always be reformed, Committed theists believe it can't, but they are wrong.
