Perhaps you aren't even dehumanised & erased metaphorically by ppl having different ideas? Perhaps you are simply disagreed with?https://twitter.com/BaileyNagy/status/856786388246835200 …

People feel isolated/excluded through others' use of language. It's ok to validate that, w/o necessarily agreeing w their proposed solution.

Would you be sympathetic to both sides - trans activists & radfem - feeling invalidated as women coz of speech of the other?

Well I'm inclined to accept that people aren't being disingenuous until proved otherwise, even if sthg makes no sense (to me)

I'm not suggesting they are being disingenuous. I'm asking if you'd be sympathetic or tell either to get a grip & stop being so histrionic.

Well, I wouldn't say that, I hope. But not sympathetic to the point that it's mistaken for agreement. Looking for _reasonable_ path.

I feel like saying that often. Mostly to radfems who say existence of trans women is a patriarchal conspiracy to take womanhood from women

But also sometimes to trans activists who tell me I'm their oppressor for existing whilst being cis ¬ hating ppl who see gender as binary
