I'm filling out this psych assessment thing & it's gonna be misleading. I'm having to adapt questions which I'm sure won't go down well.

The problem is that I get bored & impatient. Becoming interested in a greater range of topics & more patient are things I'd like to learn.
-
So, its not as simple as 'Yes, but its not a problem'. Hmmm.
-
I actually love this. How many options do you have?
-
I've just had to tick 'No, I do not avoid social situations due to social anxiety.'
-
Ah. So you're answer was there. Great.
-
Not really. It now looks as tho I either don't avoid social situations or I do avoid them but don't see it as a problem.
-
Then I refer back to my first point. There are multiple questions. A good test has those to specify the issue. Eliminate the possibilities.
-
If it just has 10 for example, be skeptical. But you'll probably have more.

Sounds like the standard form I had to fill in before every counselling session
-
Yes, I'm going to go & see a psychologist for a general review. It's been a while - 15 years. I'm fine, I think, but some stress & insomnia
-
If you don't have any immediate problems it does seem pretty pointless...
-
I'm finding it hard to deal w/ the amount of emails, DMs & tweets my essays have produced. Need to learn to be selective & shrug things off
-
I know that feeling, quite often I'll reply to something and then ignore it, otherwise I get too bound up in too many things and struggle...

Me either, I just find other people tiresome

If it's a good test, there'll be questions that will make sure you don't score on that. One question will not prove social anxiety.
