People who focus more on the weaknesses in their own group & assume the problems of the other side are evident have the same aim.

This might be due to my allegedly naive perception that most people want to be reasonable & ethical & to support what seems fair & right.

I think nearly everyone already knows that Nazism & fascism are morally wrong and most people know that sexism, racism & homophobia etc are

Therefore, more important to talk about best ways to tackle these than keep saying they are wrong (especially if you use the terms lightly)

Yes. I'm not sure how to evaluate him. I admit I'm not watching his stuff partly because people are polarising around him.

People can get too 'anti-SJW' to the point where they are rationalising genuine bigotry alongside critiquing dubious accusations of it.

I don't know if Rubin does that & I'm not interested in critiquing individuals as much as ideas & talking about getting the balance right.
