No, it doesn't. There's a bit OKing lying for self-protection in the Shia tradition. So does Judaism & most secular systems of ethics.

Yes, its a Shia idea which allows people to lie when in danger, deny they are Muslims to save their own lives, pretend to support dictator.

The point is that you don't have to take a pro or anti side against all Muslims but treat them as individuals.
