Blasphemy allegations are used as a weapon against undiserables. This very much seems to be the case here.

It's so bad that in this case apparently the accusers & atleast some of the mob are members of a self proclaimed secular political party.

It's being claimed that members of PSF the student wing of ANP were involved. ANP was founded as a secular liberal party.

They have been targeted many times by Pak Taliban. So atleast on paper they are secular it's members in practice don't seem to be.

The same as in the case of Farkhunda. No evidence but say the magic words 'blasphemy' & you've lit a touchpaper to an all-consuming fire.
