How do they dispose of lost property?
-
Not sure of general policy.
-
It should go without saying she shouldn't make unsubstantiated claims of this nature.
-
Unies are general very pro diversity so I will assume they are aware of sentiments attached to religious objects and acted accordingly.
-
They did give plenty of notice of disposing of items not claimed. Don't think they had responsibility to treat them reverently.
-
Ofcourse chief responsibility is on the owner, personally I wouldn't destroy ANY book, if unclaimed it's going in my library.

it's not really 'leaving them around' to have scripture in a prayer room!
-
Some perspective required here. We are talking about ink on paper. These books can be replaced. There is no hint of vandalism.
-
you could say something similar about blessed catholic hosts (just bread) - but you would be wrong
-
It is just bread. Anything "special" about it is just subjective opinion, not anything physically inherent to the hosts.
