I think her position is probably less radical than her critics made it out to be but it definitely seemed like her most questionable take.

Cuz the "restriction" on women driving obligates her male relatives to chauffeur her wherever she wants to go. Most Saudi women like this.

The restriction on driving and the obligatory service of being driven by males are a package deal. Freedom from one means loss of the other.

A majority of Saudi women polled approve of this "package" and want it to continue. "Freedom" for ANY women means losing package for all.
