And in that sense (as well as others), reason is different from other adaptations.

I think this is the difference. Attitude. You feel constrained by biological body & brain whilst I marvel at what they enable us to do.

I give them credit for my existence which enables me to do what I do. I don't regard their decision to procreate as constraining me.

Not always relevant or interesting to point out that I was able to do something coz my parents had sex 43 years ago but it is always true.
