There is a positive minefield around asking women their opinion or to further explain an idea of theirs which is harmful.

For me, being frequently asked my opinion or to explain my ideas further by men contradicts claim that women's views are routinely devalued.

Haha, no win situation there. Honestly, gender did not even really occur to me in our recent discussion. Sometimes it's just not relevant.

Good! Most of the time it isn't. But I saw a very uncharitable attack on a man for asking a woman to clarify & provide evidence earlier.
