Sure. Not my field - but I am pretty certain someone would have done studies on the sexist attitudes of convicted wife beaters.
Possibly. But this still would not tell us if ppl who find leg jokes amusing are more likely to be violent to women.
Analogy: Racism- would making casually racist jokes lead to killing black people or Jews- No. Some racism is "mostly harmless"
