I'm encouraged to see more of the postmodern Left denouncing liberals & liberalism rather than claiming to be the correct version of it.

Yes but IIUC intersectionality goes beyond postmodernism to set up a 'class' view of society based on the 'progressive stack'

Think the critique is that they end up back at what's effectively a form of Marxism, whether or not they accept that label.

I think that critique is wrong and comes from people whose main issue is Marxism. The underlying ethos is totally different.

Ppl see the same problem in pomo as the one they saw in Marxism & so lump it together, not seeing that the basic premises are diff.

Its much like ppl who see a strong similarity between Conservative Christian & radfem views on gender but miss opposing rationales.
