I'm feeling defensive of someone I love. I know we're social mammals but some of us are less social than others & that should be ok.

We talk a lot about accepting gender non-conformity but I think we need to be accepting of non-conformity more broadly.

Or don't be. That's fine. Just express your non-acceptance anywhere other than the tiny bit of personal space other people use to be alone.
