and if so them why not inform girls to become attractive to things that maybe more interesting to the opposite sex.

Make sure girls know all fields are open to them and encourage them in all fields and then let them make their own choice.

Exactly. Its very unlikely that men and women will be equally represented in everything due to different psychologies.
