People are so confused about choice & ethics. Something being a choice does not, in itself, tell us whether its a good or bad one ethically
Ppl have the right to be socially conservative. They can make that choice. I can still criticise socially conservative values.

Equally, I cld support a gay man's right to choose celibacy due to religious belief but criticise idea gay men need to be celibate.

just meant being able 2 seperate ideas w/o inherently linking them because they feel relevant is important for critical thinking

absolutely.. lots of examples of people changing their choice. Doesn't make either inherently good choices..

Or ppl simply having the right to make bad choices for themselves. They do. This doesn't make the choice good.
