I wouldn't like to say whether men or women face greater disadvantages on the grounds of their sex but this isn't being evasive.

This entirely depends on whether a man wants to keep focusing on career after becoming father or wld like a better work/life balance.

If he is, great. If a partner wants more work/life balance, perfect. If a man wants to help raise his kids & a woman focus on career -harder

But we have a society in which we have the right to defy gendered expectations & this is probably the best way to defeat them.

I don't think they're fine because few ppl actually fit these completely. But shldn't worry if trends continue to exist.

Thats the thing. It should be purely personal; the individual's choice to conform or not to these traits.
