Does anyone think of the emotional labour involved in navigating the ever-changing list of microaggressions & being 'educated' on them?

See, this is my problem with modern life. I want to be sensitive, I really do, but sometimes it just feels like ARRGHGHGH!
-
.
@aniakovas Sensitive is one thing.Complying with irrational & inconsistent regulations to avoid microaggressions is something else entirely -
.
@aniakovas I would not do minority groups the discourtesy of acting as though irrational, authoritarian ideologues represented them. -
.
@HPluckrose I would like to think that I could treat all people with sensitivity and discretion, but I don't always know what that means. -
I think it is subjective but at the same time, thinking you must treat ppl differently if black, gay, trans etc not healthy.
-
.
@HPluckrose I guess I try to treat each person according to their needs and sensitivities while not neglecting my own.
