Snakes do not get bored. Erebus hasn't even explored the end of his 5 ft tank where his hide & bath isn't. Foreign parts do not appeal.

How big will he get?
-
7 feet probably. His dad was that size and his mum was nearly 10 - both about as big as their sex of boa gets.
-
does that mean you'll need to build a new home?
-
No. I got it the size he'll need as an adult. Needs to be about 2/3rd of the length of them. He'll still curl up at one end.

got admit that position makes me uneasy lol

He couldn't hurt you. Not that strong. Easily unwound. They like to be round necks. A toddler could squeeze you harder.

really? I thought they were escape artists.

Some snakes are. My Texas Rat Snake - Houdini - was. Boas tend to be placid. He doesn't even climb much. Just naps.
-
maybe he's sneaky, doesn't do much when he's being observed.
-
He's not shy. Just very placid, with very tiny brain. He'll explore a bit when out. Interested in people.pic.twitter.com/JXEYoTVHC7

I had a snake for a short time, I thought it 'liked' people because they were warm.
-
I don't think they can feel affection. But they can know & trust individual humans & be interested in them.

Maybe he's depressed. Do his eyes light up at the mention of ice cream?

I can relate to a snake better than most of my peers.
