It kind of does. Parents seem not to go to prison until they've killed more than one child thru bizarre beliefs.

She is right Scott, they claim right to deny treatment on relig grounds, for example.

ahh, yeah the denial of medical treatment crap should be prosecuted, no argument there.

but I don't know of any cases of outright murder being protected, or even physical harm against ones will.
