      IMO a parental note should be fine, but still they need something to keep kids from claiming some made up religion..

          I think it is. If religious ppl are allowed to wear headscarfs, non-religious ppl shld be. Same plainness or colour.

          That may be fair, but not within our current const. A school MAY accommodate a vegetarian, but doesn't have to.
