I've never found ppl expected me to be less capable than men but then my jobs were in female-dominated nursing & humanities.

No problem getting employed but many ppl calling an electrician were surprised to find a 5 ft woman on their doorstep & doubted her ability.

I work in the industry, the _isms are real... Sexism, racism, etc...

See a lot of racism in mine. Not from employers but customers not wanting a black carer. Tend to be elderly tho.
