Very, very sick of people saying 'I didn't say that' when it's very clear that they did. At least say 'I didn't mean that' & qualify.

I don't want to hold people to words that were said hastily in anger or expressed badly & so misleadingly but don't pretend its my error.

I don't want to drive home a point that its their error or claim victory for having made them change their mind or qualify.

Just sick of people realising their point is wrong & rather than just changing it, blaming me for thinking they made it in the first place.
