I don't honestly think it's much of a victory to defeat Milo with a gotcha, rather than taking on his ideas, or learning to ignore him.
-
-
who he is is someone who is willing to soften any personal standard to push the envelope of decorum. That's what's been defeated
-
You think? I'd like that to be the case.
-
everything I've read is about how people are realizing the guy has no standards and will say anything
-
That's encouraging. I'm seeing 'liberal witchhunt!' from mad right & 'Now ppl realise he's awful coz victims are male!' from mad left
-
UK must be a strange place.
-
I'm talking about Twitter. I don't know anyone in the UK who knows who he is.
-
twitter is a *really* bad place to gauge opinions. Too many eggs

-
It's all I've got and its what I'm talking about. I never hear anything abt him anywhere else or meet anyone who's heard of him.

my small thread of my thoughts:https://twitter.com/j_razor101/status/833837883815522304 …
-
Yep, absolutely.
-
as always, I'm irritated by people being either outraged or rejoicing & entirely missing the point.
-
But as
@christianjbdev &@J_indetroit were saying. If he goes, there'd be an opening for a provocateur with boundaries. -
the solution, then, is to stop taking the bait. No one can provoke you without your consent.
-
Or just enjoy it! That's what I meant. Milo's appeal was in outraging the outrage merchants. Didn't need to be an arsehole too.
-
It would be a positive outcome if someone with his provocative humour but also ethics and integrity could fill the gap.

he's not been diminished as a pedo. He's been diminished as someone with know convictions who only cares about attention.
