I don't care at all abt people 'body-shaming' Trump but never again can anyone claim this only happens to powerful women due to sexism.

The loving and tolerant left claims to be against body shaming. Unless it's conservatives, then have at it 😂😂😂

Well, I'd be wary of left vs right on this. Best hope is moderates of all kinds.

It mostly happens to women. Sexism exists.

Does it mostly happen to women? Sexism does exist. Not sure it affects women more than men any more.

Does it? I don't think I face greater social pressure than men or more assumptions. Just different ones.

It's not a sexist issue. Men are graded by height, depth of voice, authority, gravitas, wealth, social standing, sport etc, etc

Women are equally judged by a range of criteria (with some overlapping) - smarts, figure, femininity, wealth, authority etc

Cannot be a free for all. Poking fun is one thing, but well aimed abuse designed solely to hurt & harm? No. There are boundaries

No. Targeted harassment is wrong but vulgarity abt public figures must be allowed whether its Trump, Muhammad or the queen

Vulgar humour is fine. It does not aim to hurt, but it might. Brit comedy is a master at this. Deliberate abuse for harm -not ok

It's just so hypocritical. The PPL who were up in arms over any criticism of Hillary were also happy to mock Palin as a bimbo

I don't think gender has much to do with it, but it's clear that partisan affiliation determines the response for many.

exactly right. It's obvious because any women the Left accuses of wrong think is a valid target to them.

TBH the more telling thing is that they resort to the very same tropes they'd decry as "misogyny" if directed...
