I used words 'one of the least diverse' when describing ethnic mix in UK. This is factually true but led ppl to assume views I didn't have.

And this is natural but we must believe ppl if they correct us. I say I don't assume but obviously I do. I just try not to.

Hehehe. I love the way expressions distort. 'I'm all thumbs' has become 'I'm all fingers & thumbs' - that's normal dexterity!

Maybe 'Assuming make an 'ass' out of 'u' & 'me' is becoming ur mother's phrase & future historians will puzzle over it!

haha.. I was just being silly Helen. But the original expression was odd. I always thought - no just one ass here :)
