Often when tweeting & usually when writing, people are making arguments. Therefore, they often say things they think others aren't getting.

If we all only wrote about the worst things in the world, there'd be millions of tweets & essays abt genocide & killing children being bad.
-
But very few people would read them because very few people need convincing of this.
-
Many ppl write things abt why ppl on the other side of a political divide are wrong but this too will be obvious to most of their audience.
-
Therefore ppl who like to discuss ideas are often most likely to criticise or disagree w/ relatively minor ideas/attitudes on their own side
-
Coz this more likely to be productive than pointing out horrific badness is horrifically bad or that I don't support a party I don't support
-
I don't tell my tweeps things I'm fairly sure they know or central arguments for political positions I'm sure they've heard 100 times before
-
I argue things I know some will disagree with or some might not have thought of or that I'm just thinking thru myself & am unsure of.
-
'I see a problem with the way a lot of us are doing this, thinking about that, interpreting the other.'
-
So thinking I criticise the way some fellow Lefties talk to righties coz I think its a bigger deal than fascism, nazism or genocide is crazy
-
I'm assuming we all know these far-right things are very bad &thinking making allies among the centre right might be helpful. Just 1 example

I’m astonished at you, thinking telepathy is the worlds most critical problem.

Unwise critics often use fallacious presumption of others’ priorities as a launchpad for whataboutism. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whataboutism …
