Yes, more women are 'pro-life' but I think the motivation is often much less political (or competitive) than claimed. (I am pro-choice)
Conscience varies with values. Mine on abortion. http://helenpluckroseblogs.blogspot.co.uk/2015/10/my-position-on-abortion.html … People decide whether their own lives have value or not.

Is Pro-life/ choice divide based on physical development? By dehumanising embryos we lower the value of life easing consciences
-
Or that could just be a more reasonable line for human rights than conception?
-
They could not indeed dovetail. Even my own view of limitations to abortions timing, are strongly against pro-life advocates
-
Sorry? Ppl have a basis for when its OK to deny a potential person life. Where the line is.Brain development seems the most ethical
-
Who knows? We think physical development & pro-life think beyond physical to the soul from conception. There is No middle ground
-
There are many other positions. Not everyone who is pro-life believes in a soul. Many believe abstinence & contraception wrong too.
-
If a soul exists, abortion cld be the best thing for an embryo if it will go to heaven never having sinned. If not, they don't exist
-
Still murder but have heard this French philosophers view of despatching at birth. Nice thought - baptise - boom! Heaven.
