And we do this a lot. 'The baby is the size of a pea' at six weeks. 'I lost the baby' abt a first trimester miscarriage.

It's very normal to feel protectiveness & even love for an embryo thought of as a baby & deep grief if it is lost.

But when the outcome is the same, this isn't logical. No good reason line shld be there rather than ability to experience.
