to be able to present your ideas in a compelling manner. And it also doesn't hurt if you know how to write.

But, ultimately, you want your ideas to spread not because you're a good propagandist, but because your arguments are powerful.

In the sense that they're more rational or true or whatever. I dunno, I'm not a philosopher!
