Can't help but notice that some anti-feminists are oblivious to existence of intellectual passions & personal ambition. Come across it a lot
-
-
Women are often depicted doing soul-destroying work in cubicles purely for money or to have a feminist status as 'independent woman'
-
I find this quite sad. To make this assumption suggests to me that the person speaking is not interested in anything,
-
If they were but couldn't earn enough money doing that thing & had to take an unsatisfying job, they'd at least understand.
-
There's an awful lot of very interesting things in the world that people can engage with at all levels & earn money doing.
-
Of course, some ppl are very interested in small children & might have a specimen or 2 at home to do fulfilling work with! XD
-
But the idea that 'work' is necessarily an unsatisfying thing women have been conned into doing by feminism is truly bizarre. Get out more.

There's some truth in it. There was a survey that showed many men would work less if affordable to spend time with family.
-
Work-life balance is a different thing.
-
People believe that the right WL balance is no work for mother and full time for father. Some believe FT for both
-
The reality is probably that both parents would want to work part time (say 3 full days per week or so) if they had the option.
-
Yes, but at the moment I'm talking about recognising that intellectual passions & ambitions exist.
-
Oh. 1 can still have passions that 1 can do without being in paid job FT mums don't dedicate 100% of time on kid. Right?
-
I'm talking about people who don't recognise that intellectual passions & ambition re work exists.
-
Those people are Pete Tong. But might think that sacrifices need to be made with having kids. Mother working is one of them.
