We can be sympathetic to ppl suffering uncontrollable rage following traumatic experiences of oppression w/out advocating it as activism.

I worry that if being critical of abusive communication styles is forbidden as 'tone policing' the Left will continue to fall in popularity

I can't overemphasise how important I think the way we talk to people is in determining whether the Left loses the cultural war in long term

Frankly to me it seems like many has turned to activism as a form of therapy, which is probably not good for either.
