I think it was a bad idea. Its referenda on important multifaceted issues that I disapprove of.
Representative democracy is needed when society gets too complex for every individual to be fully informed on every aspect.

It's a bit like how you'd need a lawyer or financial adviser to break down options & present them to you, then act on them.

Maybe you had time to thoroughly research everything the EU does but I didn't. Job, studies, children. Way too much to grasp.

Ultimately, I decided UK best off in the EU due to the consensus & breakdowns of experts on the EU & how it benefits UK.
