It can. But its better to argue with this than ban ppl from saying it. The same argument used to silence critics of religion.
Not sure it's so straightforward considering the ongoing debate. I think you and I are mostly on the same page. Many aren't.
I'm thinking also of Mill's harm principle. Even he seemed confused, which makes me feel better about my own confusion.
I certainly don't advocate banning in most instances, but what constitutes harm & should be banned is also open for debate.
Unless ppl decide it isn't because that would be harmful. I'm always for more freedom on principle but recognise consequences
My only conclusion is the more I read about it the more unsure I am, so I read more... I'll change my mind again tomorrow
