You do realise 'women's' means 'belonging to women'? I assumed it was only for women.

Words have meanings. Of course, ppl will assume The Women's March is for women. Why is this confusing?

I was never confused. People who make assumptions WO looking at facts are how we got here in the first place.

Well, the fact is 'Women's March' means 'a march that belongs to women' so people will think it's that.

Yes but ppl are confused abt in what sense. Like a shelter or group for women? Or on behalf of women, open to all.

It seems most ppl think it does mean that. Men are welcome.

Any confusion is easily clarified. Yet many seemed quick to take it as anti-men, perhaps because they want to de-legitimize feminism.

I think there's a strong possibility of overlap between the two sets.

Possibly. However, lets not assume that. I assure you I made a simple error. I've no problem with a march for women.

What's annoying me is ppl responding to 'I didn't realise men cld go' with 'why do you hate women-led movements?' Doesn't follow.
