"If you wanted me to attend your women's march, you should have been more clear about inviting me" makes a pretty impressive leap of faith
-
-
were I thinking of going, I'd have found out whether I was welcome rather than proclaim I shouldve been more explicitly invited
-
and some dudes online did not seem to take that approach
-
So is the leap in faith in thinking women would have invited them if they'd wanted them? I think we do need to encourage allies
-
talking about specific loud guys here, not trying to generalize to all men who want to help
-
I see a conflation of 'men genuinely not being aware they could come' with 'men being offended by exclusiveness & boycotting.'
