Most times when I've been wrong - at the time I sincerely *felt* that I was seeing the obvious truth.
But I worry cos sometimes that setback lasts centuries. But there's usually some humans carrying the torch.

When the Romans went peculiar, fortunately the Arabs/Muslims kept the work of the Greeks alive & when they did, Christendom.

But there's so much knowledge now. Hard to see how anyone could snuff out the flame.
