Offence is nothing on its own. When its accompanied by oppression or bullying or injustice, its those things that matter & need fixing.

We already recognise that ppl who are offended by existence of LGBT, non-white ppl in their country & women having jobs shld get over it.

I'm offended by much of religious morality, partic eternal torture for non-believers. I can & do say this but mostly I have to deal with it.

Very minor quibble: If offended, we are of course entitled to contest the veracity of the offensive assertion. ("Hell—no!") :)
