Suspect many would be shocked by my strong dislike of modesty culture. Surely women should be able to wear what they want?

I often wonder what would happen w/in rela'ships if women who "choose" to wear them, chose not to?

So in those cases (and many others I suspect) the "choice" actually quietly menacing coercion.

That's also why I don't focus my anger towards hijabis, but towards the culture that promotes this.

Agree, but I find it hard seeing a young girl looking up at her cloaked main female role model.

I esp dislike seeing little girls made 2 wear hijab/burqa. Girls (& boys) shd freely run & play,

climb trees, get muddy, swim. Unrestricted by modesty codes.
