Don't let 'fat activists' tell you being fat is healthy. I was always slim then doubled my weight rapidly due to medication. It's horrible.

I get tired easily. My knees hurt when I walk. Blood pressure & cholesterol high. I'm generally uncomfortable. Avoid this at all costs.

Also in danger of diabetes but fortunately off meds now & weight falling off. Every week I feel better. Only so much weight we're built for

Fat ppl shld not be abused or shamed but fat activists do great harm by encouraging the overweight to be comfortable with it.

People who are unhealthily overweight shld be encouraged lovingly by loved ones to remedy this for their own good. Like smokers & alcoholics

Indeed, this is why I had issue with Mr Yiannopoulos's fatshaming advice. If nothing else, because that worked so well on us.

Oh, you didn't know? He wrote something about it not long after he got involved in GamerGate.

You seem to be saying he said we shld shame ppl but you have a problem with this because it works which confused me.

Lol, I seem to recall we revolted at being shamed, lol. At least, the sceptics/atheists did. #ElevatorGate

I'm not fat. I'm big-boned. Really, really big-boned. Get it? Big. Bone. [But I could lose 20 lbs.]

It took years to completely abolish Marlboro. Shaming didn't work. It just became socially sterile & harder to justify to myself

The same can be said for activists that fight for the freedom to practice a religion. And cherry pick which one is acceptable.
