Human psychology! The desire to transcend our animal bodies & be pure mind/spirit/soul. Various forms.

The 'truth' I am getting at is the common desire to transcend carnality & be immortal in spirit/mind form

Whether its transhumanism or a soul ascending to heaven or vampire stories, humans yearn for this.
