I don't feel the word 'spiritual' fits any aspect of my intellectual, psychological or emotional experience. I suspect this a semantic issue

"Spiritual" is used in practice either as a synonym for "makes me feel good" or to sell you something to "make you feel good"
-
Plus there's the whole thing about meditation, which is, again, something that makes some people feel good/better.
-
Again, nothing wrong with it, if you do it responsibly. Just don't think it makes you better than others and you'll be OK.
-
That's a good advice for anyone. Do what makes you happy, if it doesn't hurt others, but don't believe you're better than others

Which is fine, but not so special, so people attach to it a label that makes it unique and "mysterious".
