Many ppl have just not been brought up to believe in a god & never seen any reason to think one is real.

Belief in god is a matter of faith & many avoid faith-based thinking. Also, religion is just not of interest to many.

Belief in God has to do with both faith and reason. That is why theology exists to study the concept.
