Rational feminist tweeps who have not abandoned me, I know you still exist & do good work!
-
I don't want to lump all feminists together. So much variety. I identified abt 16 distinct schools of thought here: http://helensatheistblogs.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/a-twitter-users-guide-to-different.html …

I get on well w/ Retired Liberal Feminists, Equity Feminists &Non-intersectional Liberal Feminists w/ a high threshhold of sexism-detection!
-
I mostly have conflict with intersectional (3rd wave) feminists & occasionally radfems.
-
I don't even know what any of that means. I consider myself to be a feminist because I want equality for everyone.
-
Because you're using the word 'feminist' as synonymous with 'the aim for gender equality' rather than any partic theories or tenets?
-
I guess so. It was only on Twitter that I started learning that there are "types" of feminism.
-
Very much so. They nearly all accept patriarchy theory & cultural constructivism unfortunately so many ppl don't really fit.

Personally I have found kyriarchy theory much more useful than patriarchy theory.
