Me too! I've said a lot abt women defying expectations. The disempowerment of women is a concern I have with feminism.

yea and when women do defy expectations..it's described weirdly in media. Public attitudes are still rigid on accomplishments

As much as when men do? I think we've come a long way. Normal for women to have careers. Stay at home dads much less so.

Normal for women to have careers but some careers are still "a woman is doing that?" as I said, it's areas/circumstances.

Yes and men who are stay at home dads get called unemployed or losers. Not as normalised as women in professions.

Women dominate many professions including medicine & biology. Gender differences do exist & affect career choices.

Thing is... I'm not sure about equality. It can't be forced. It'll never work if people HAVE to comply. Its about Education.

Legal equality. That can be forced. After that, we just have to change social expectations.
