Yesterday, I disagreed civilly with a feminist trans activist who said they could see my point. We should celebrate such rare occurrences.

I've certainly never criticised feminists for pointing out that women are human.
-
just trying to get to that point. To be normalized. Not to have the same old arguments about lady parts or health clinics
-
Sure! Still stuff to do. Also need to get people caring abt male suicide & homelessness, education gap & custody ineqalities
-
Gender inequalities still exist & need addressing. I can't see that they affect women more severely than men tho.
-
I want to come at the problem from both sides & avoid any movement which focuses on one side only tho I can work with them.
-
I feel like I need to stand up for myself ... as a woman. To support my own empowerment so that I can earn my place.
-
Me too! I've said a lot abt women defying expectations. The disempowerment of women is a concern I have with feminism.
-
yea and when women do defy expectations..it's described weirdly in media. Public attitudes are still rigid on accomplishments

they are here. And I know there are places in the world where women are... more objects or tools than persons.

In America? Really? I know they are elsewhere and that is where my focus is. Women who have fewer rights & freedoms than men
-
penis homes/houses. A pastor said that...I've seen mansplaining. Salt n pepper shaker lecture at the register.
-
Am writing blog abt 'mansplaining.' Different communication styles exist. Charity is needed.
-
it was rather awful to witness that. Not all men do it. A small percent do..and they are older.
-
We can survive men talking. They compete for knowledge ownership more with each other. We can deal with it as well as men can
-
.
@LadyGirlPerson Not standing by whilst so-called feminists try to take us back to 'Lady in the house! Moderate ur language & humour her.' -
And there's a problem with equating 'my reproductive freedom is under threat' w 'a man explained something' under 'feminism'
