Yesterday, I disagreed civilly with a feminist trans activist who said they could see my point. We should celebrate such rare occurrences.
I don't, I'm afraid. I've always been heavily involved in feminism. I rarely click on news stories abt BLM. Sometimes I do.

Blocked access to airport here recently coz they think ppl don't care abt climate change affecting non-white countries most.
-
I don't think that's why ppl neglect climate change. Also the protesters were all white. Its a different thing, I think.

here is the issue as I see it Feminists are working to have women humanized. BLM are also going for that kind of validation
-
I don't think women are dehumanised. In fact, there is more compassion & concern for women's wellbeing than men's.
-
I've certainly never criticised feminists for pointing out that women are human.
-
just trying to get to that point. To be normalized. Not to have the same old arguments about lady parts or health clinics
-
Sure! Still stuff to do. Also need to get people caring abt male suicide & homelessness, education gap & custody ineqalities
-
Gender inequalities still exist & need addressing. I can't see that they affect women more severely than men tho.
-
I want to come at the problem from both sides & avoid any movement which focuses on one side only tho I can work with them.
-
I feel like I need to stand up for myself ... as a woman. To support my own empowerment so that I can earn my place.
