I went with the lads and their mum three times to the RSPCA to look for said dog to enter their lives.

After looking at the dogs, we'd go to the cat shelter. I'd had enough looking at the stage so sat down in a chair.

Shortly after sitting in the chair, a cat jumped on my lap. I'm not really a cat person (nor a dog person, for that matter).

This happened three Sundays in a row. The Monday after the third visit, I spotted a cat on the work bulletin board.

The cat had been born at the shelter and was a year old. The next day, said cat was welcomed into my abode.

That cat is Bonnie. She's not a black hooded python.

Didn't your username used to be Charlie? Or am I completely wrong?

Though I reckon Charles Charlie would be a good combination of given name/family name. Perhaps some day I could make it so?
